MY MAY WEATHER FORECAST
Headline… MIXED WARM START AND END
Lets hope I can get this a little more accurate than my April forecast as it was well wrong (sorry). After that sizzling April I think the first few days will continue as April left off and as we head towards the May Day bank holiday the weather will turn a lot cooler and more unsettled as Atlantic fronts start pushing in giving some much needed rain. This trend will continue til around the 25th when it will become warm and settled as High pressure builds back in and by the Spring bank holiday it could turn very warm or even hot but lookout as the sun wont always shine as there will be risk of it turning thundery towards the months end but still hot as a southerly airflow from North Africa takes hold with high pressure out to the East of the U.K
